JGJS / PDF FILL & SIGN

FAQ

A few answers before you begin.

Open the editor
Are my documents uploaded?

No. PDF files, text and signature images are processed in browser memory. The website still downloads its own resources and may contact Google for advertising.

Is it free?

Version 1 is free, without registration or hourly task limits. Each PDF must be within 25 MB and 100 pages. Device memory can impose additional limits. Advertising helps support the service.

Can I change the original words?

Version 1 adds new elements over an existing PDF. It does not replace original text, run OCR, redact confidential content or convert Word files.

Which languages can I type?

The included Noto font supports English, Spanish, Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese, regardless of the menu language. Unsupported characters are flagged before saving. Complex-script layout and emoji are outside version 1.

Is my signature a digital certificate?

No. Drawing or importing a signature places an image on the document. This tool does not verify identity or provide certificate-based signing. Check what the recipient requires.

Can I fill existing interactive forms?

Not in version 1. PDFs with interactive fields or digital signatures are rejected to avoid changing their behavior. Use an ordinary PDF copy without those fields or signatures.

Will my work survive a refresh?

No. Save before refreshing or closing. Only your language preference is stored. The app does not automatically save PDFs or signatures to browser storage.

Where is my saved file?

Check your browser downloads or the Files app on your phone. Some mobile browsers open a preview first; use their save or share action. The filename ends in -filled.pdf.

Why will a PDF not open?

Encrypted, damaged, interactive or digitally signed PDFs are not supported in version 1. Check the 25 MB / 100-page limit and try a current browser. Some unusual PDFs may still be incompatible.

Can I use this on my phone?

Yes, the interface includes a bottom toolbar and panels. File saving depends on your browser. Large scanned pages can be slow on devices with little memory.

Can I edit the saved additions later?

You can edit additions while this session stays open. In the downloaded PDF, additions become page content. Reopening that PDF will not restore separate editable objects in this tool.

Why are there advertisements?

Advertising supports the free tool. It is separated from document controls. Google may process advertising data; your PDF content is not intentionally sent to advertising services.
