Pixel Art ConverterWhy is the result different from hand-drawn pixel art?
This converter samples the source image and reduces its palette. It does not redesign shapes or invent details. Small features may disappear at low resolutions. Try a larger canvas, more colors or another sampling method.
Are images uploaded?
Image editing and export run on your device. Images are not uploaded by these tools. Continuing from background transparency stores a one-use transfer in this browser, removed on receipt. Unused transfers expire after 10 minutes and are cleaned up the next time either tool opens. Website resources still use the internet.
Color count
Update the preview after changing settings. Compare the original and result. The grid and preview zoom do not change the downloaded file. RGB color limits do not reduce the number of alpha transparency levels.

Save PNG at 1×, 2×, 4× or 8×. To continue editing, send the result to background transparency or Sprite Studio. Tool tabs only navigate; use the result buttons to carry your image across.
